Fully Qualified Infant Teacher
Job Description:
This is a full-time position for an Infant Fully Qualified Teacher. Hours are to be determined based on the needs of the school. You will be scheduled to work Monday through Friday, 8 hours with a one-hour unpaid lunch and two 15-minute paid rest breaks.
We are seeking reliable, flexible, and nurturing teachers who have a passion and love for working with infants aged 6 weeks to 24 months.
The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, communicates effectively, and has infinite patience and a calm-centered personality. You must demonstrate good judgment in caring for small children and encourage social and emotional development using positive discipline strategies. Teachers working with this age group provide care to infants and a safe environment that fosters initiative, independence, and self-reliance mindful of a child’s physical and cognitive growth, while communicating positively with children, other staff members, and parents.
Minimum Requirements
Must be able to pass a background check
Must pass a TB/Health screening
Must provide current and up-to-date immunization records
Required to get Flu shot vaccination annually or provide a signed Declination
Must have 12 semester units in Early Childhood Education
Must complete 3 semester units of ECE directly related to the care of infants
Montessori Certification is a plus and will be compensated accordingly
Bachelor's or associate degree in early childhood education or a related discipline is recommended
Must complete 15 hours of health and safety training.
Must obtain and maintain CPR certification within one year of hire
Complete Mandated Reporter and Harassment training every two years
Must be able to lift and carry small children, bend, squat, kneel, sit, and stand throughout the day, to be at the child’s eye level when interacting
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Must have strong written and oral communication skills in English, interpersonal skills, and a willingness to learn

Montessori Teacher
Job Duties:
Conduct instructional research and analysis on learners and context and define objectives for a course and/or curriculum.
Select, modify, or create a design and development model appropriate for each given subject and develop instructional materials accordingly
Work with subject matter experts and other personnel to collect feedback and integrate it into the next course draft.
Design quizzes and meaningful course interactions to increase learning and retention.
Use PowerPoint to draft screen layouts, graphics and interactions appropriate to the content.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor in any degree or foreign equivalent
12 months of experience in education
Must have Early Childhood credentials in AMS or AMI
Minimum Rate of Pay
$58,864 per year
